The plant that I put in a pot is doing wonderfully; the shishitos in the ground are literally stagnant. Should I just pull them up?? They’re only like 2 inches tall.

So. These guys are surviving. They’re in the ground with the tomatoes – but while the tomatoes have grown into literal titans ready to take over the backyard, my peppers are mere mice. Literally, maybe as tall as a mouse. I’ve planted some shishitos from seed in the front veggie bed, just in case they like all this late summer heat that’s coming our way. They haven’t sprouted yet, and it’s been maybe two weeks, but they were divas when I tried to sprout them indoors, too, so I’ll continue to wait patiently.
I did put one shishito in a small pot in literal full sun, and it’s doing a lot better than the in-the-ground plants. I mean, it’s like 6 inches tall and has a flower, so that’s something.

Transplanted to back garden

Alright, here’s another seed from the mystery germination date. I planted these 2-ish weeks ago, have just given up on them, and they’ve just sprouted.
I plan on putting these guys in the large veggie bed.
