RIP. These guys looked really pretty on the vine, but I’m not sure I’ll plant them again. They got a pretty bad fungus infection that spread rapidly before I barely had time to Google the issue. I pulled out the infected vines and replanted a more resistant varietal. For the record, I did get a large harvest a few times before they met their demise, so they were definitely worth growing.

The pea vines are HUGE. And I finally have a flower!

They’ve just started sprouting this past week (March 11). I did not soak my other snap pea seeds, and these ones did indeed sprout about a week earlier.

Peas! I have such fond memories of eating peas fresh from my step-mom’s garden. And these ones are purple!

These peas were soaked for 6 hours and sowed on Feb. 23.

I’ve planted more of these snap peas in buckets in the back yard, as I had a lot of extra seeds.
