So much chard. So many bugs. I pulled the chard out of the front bed – it was all buggy and mostly weird long wisps of chard stems anyway.
I’ve been harvesting the chard bit by bit over the past couple weeks, and the plants just keep on giving. It’s been great to have a quick hearty green on hand all the time.
These little bebes were transplanted on Fed. 23. My husband is a bigger chard fan than I am, but they will be a very pretty addition to the front veggie beds.
