The strawberries in the purple pot are more prolific than the ones in the black pot.

The Seascape has been producing berries at a pretty steady clip. The little gardener has been enjoying them immensely – although the rest of us have yet to try one.

Wasn’t planning on it, but I grabbed a few strawberry plants while I was shopping for veggie plants today. I realized after I got home that I had 6 plants, and probably only needed 2? But I placed two in a pot on one side of the deck and two in a pot on the other side and we’ll see which ones are happier. I may plant the other two in the front yard and see if they prefer morning sunshine.
The Seascape Strawberry is supposed to be a relatively small plant, be easy to take care of, and is “everbearing,” meaning it will produce berries throughout its growing season. What’s not to love?
