No huge updates for this guy, except for the fact that he’s gotten HUGE. I moved him to a spot that gets more afternoon sun, and he’s soaking it all up. Hopefully this means a guava crop next season??

I am SO EXCITED to have guavas. But I think it may take a few years before our cute little buddy gives us any fruit. Should I have bought a larger tree? Does it matter how large the tree is when you transplant it? At any rate, our little guava is in a nice little (big) pot in a sunny spot on the deck. So far, she’s doing great.

I need to give her some mulch.

She does not yet have a name; however the names “Molly,” “Guinevere,” “Rainey,” and “Che Guavara” have been thrown in the ring.

That’s about all for my guava notes.
